Communication based advanced tracking system comprised primarily of computer hardware and computer software for locating entities in real world situations, including hardware tracking tags worn by the entity for locating indoors, a communication data radio to disseminate information, software to correlate the information, software to visualize the tracked entities in a virtual environment, and a Global positioning system (GPS) consisting of computers, computer software, transmitters, receivers, and network interface devices for outdoor tracking
