The complexity of modeling and simulation networks is increasing each year. As new and more realistic models are federated together to create a comprehensive training environment, it becomes much harder to troubleshoot communication links between the simulations. ANALYSIM was created from the ground up to be a simulation data analysis, logging, reporting, routing, compression, and playback tool. Providing the analysis and troubleshooting aspect within the MIRAGE suite of products, ANALYSIM's simplistic design and ability to be modified quickly have made it an analysis tool of choice within the simulation community. ANALYSIM has been used in military and commercial simulation spaces successfully since its debut in 2002.
Comprehensive
ANALYSIM provides a robust out-of-the-box simulation debugging tool. It provides support for DIS, HLA, and raw UDP analysis on both broadcast and multicast networks. It offers bundling support for applications like CCTT and is capable of analyzing multiple network streams simultaneously.
Extendable
One of the most powerful features of the ANALYSIM application is the ability to extend its functionality. Since the whole application is built around a simulation data processing framework, adding new processing capabilities is easy.
Configurable
ANALYSIM's core functionality is easily configurable to meet the needs of the end user. For example, the generic reporting module allows the user to define fields of the packet and assign a label.
Intuitive
ANALYSIM provides an intuitive user interface that adheres to the principles of point and click. The user simply clicks the node that they want to add to the core application and then drops it where they desire.
